Datscan

In the differential diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease in our Nuclear Medicine Clinic, brain SPECT imaging is performed with DATSCAN / I -123 IOUFLUPANE. Datscan is used for the purpose of examining the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, especially those who have symptoms of walking and movement problems, balance, tremor and loss of coordination. This imaging method aims to evaluate dopamine carriers that help to recycle dopamine in the body’s motion control system.
